Privacy Policy
GayQuiz privacy policy — what data we collect (almost none) and how we use it.
Last updated: May 11, 2026
TL;DR
- Your quiz answers are never stored, transmitted, or analyzed. Everything runs in your browser.
- We don’t ask for your email, name, or any identifying information.
- We use anonymous aggregate analytics to see which quizzes get traffic. We don’t tie this to individual visitors.
- We don’t sell anything, including your data.
What we collect
Quiz answers: None. The quiz engine runs entirely in your browser (client-side JavaScript). Your answers are scored locally and the result is shown to you on the same page. Nothing leaves your device.
Page analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QSSYVR3767) with IP anonymization enabled to understand which quizzes are popular and where visitors come from. The data is aggregate — we see “1,000 people visited the Am I Gay quiz this week,” not “this specific user visited.” Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies for this purpose. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking on every site using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
IP address: Our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting / Google Cloud) and CDN (Cloudflare) record IP addresses for security and abuse prevention purposes, as is standard. We do not access or analyze these logs.
What we don’t collect
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or other identifying information
- Quiz answers or quiz results
- Browsing history outside our site
- Anything that would let us identify you as an individual
Cookies
We use minimal cookies. None of them are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Children
GayQuiz is suitable for any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children, teens, or adults — because we don’t collect personal information, period.
